Hi everyone!!! Here's my piece for Cuttlebug Spot's November 16th Challenge. : ) It is a very simple THANK YOU card. I thought if I was going to be giving this away to family friends who have joined us for thanksgiving, I had better make something that is easy to mass produce. So I came up with this card... It's easy, clean and simple. I cut the oval layers with my Cricut using the Sure Cuts A Lot software and I used Basic Grey's Pyrus Stamp Set and heat embossed it.
Supplies:
Paper Trey Ink True Black cardstock
Paper Trey Ink Poppy Red cardstock
White Cardstock
Yellow polka dot paper from DCWV
Dimensional Adhesive
Corner Chomper
Cuttlebug Divine Swirls Embossing Folder
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Vanessa I love the rich colours and clean ut of your card and gorgeous embossing, 2 of my favourite folders!

Hi Julie, Thanks so much! I have been into bright fun colors lately... And yes, I agree with you, the Divine Swirls and Swiss Dots are my most fave embossing folders too! And I sure enjoy white embossing on dark or bright color cardstock.

Hey Jannie! : ) Thanks! I was going to make it just black and white but I thought WHY? when I could make it a bit more complicated and fun. LOL just kidding.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love heat embossing! I don't think I have a project anymore that doesn't involve my heat tool.
